Around February 2022, our community was transitioning from almost exclusive online connections to in-person + online, an exciting and welcome, but also confusing and potentially fragmenting, development. Linda Blachman proposed to the Mikdash Committee a project that would bring CNS members together in small groups to get to know each other in new ways. With Rabbi Chai’s and the committee’s blessing, Judy Breakstone quickly volunteered to work with Linda, and Janet Harris provided early consultation. Within a few months, 5 other members* joined what would become the Life Story Circles planning team.
Since May, our team has been working together to develop the project and prepare for the November 20th launch event. We’ve also been participating in a pilot Circle, which is allowing us to experience, evaluate and refine the model over time. We’re all very enthusiastic about our experience in the group and enthusiastic about bringing the opportunity to you.
