Join us for this festive event for all ages. We will honor our community’s first 30 years, and raise money for the future.

About the Day
This festive afternoon is for everyone: all ages and all stages of membership.

1:00-3:00: This structured program features live music, a curated line-up of stories told by members representing our diverse community, blessings and appreciations.

3:00-5:00: In between schmoozing, appetizers and drinks you can participate in a community pop-up museum, gallery walk of CNS sacred objects, and collaborative art project.

Youth Experience

To help ensure that we can serve youth well and create a lovely event for everyone, we created an engaging and affordable Youth Experience for ages 1-17. This program will run during the whole event. It includes a mix of age-appropriate activities and free play facilitated by experienced adults, plus food and drink.

Each youth who attends the event on 6/2 must be registered for the Youth Experience. To register, purchase a youth ticket ($30/youth). Registrations are due by May 19. More details about the Youth Experience will be emailed before the event. If you have questions in the meantime, contact CNS30th@gmail.com.

Gallery Walk

Learn about the ritual objects and art that live in our building — rich but unknown stories that surround us in our synagogue home. Members who created or contributed to selected items, serving as “docents”, will talk about how the objects came to be. You can also take a self-guided tour of those and many other objects. You’ll learn something you never knew about things you see each time you walk in the door of Netivot Shalom!

Community Pop-Up Museum

The Pop-Up Museum is about our personal connections to Netivot Shalom. Members can make a “loan” to the museum — contributing a personal object representing a connection to Netivot Shalom, along with a brief description. On 6/2, everyone can browse the display of objects and stories. This pop-up museum will only exist during the “Growing Together” event, so don’t miss it!

Do you want to “loan” a personal object to the Community Pop-Up Museum? It will be returned to you with our gratitude. Send a note: CNS30th@gmail.com

Collaborative Art Project

Help create a piece of art honoring our community’s 30th anniversary. All ages can participate. More details coming soon!

Do you want to help with the collaborative art project? Send a note: CNS30th@gmail.com

About the Fundraiser
The “Growing Together” event replaces this year’s Spring Appeal. Please give as generously as you can. We’ll care for our community’s financial heath while having a great time! When we raise $55,000 we will meet this year’s budget. When we raise more, we help ourselves shift from surviving to thriving.

There are two ways to donate. Choose one or more options!
