The Congregation Netivot Shalom Preschool seeks to create a stimulating and enriching educational environment for each and every child. We are devoted to helping children learn socialization skills, building their self-confidence and teaching them the preliminary skills to explore and experience the world independently from their parents. In addition, we seek to ignite a spark in each child to lay claim to her or his Jewish heritage and commit him or her to a lifetime passion for learning. For more information, please contact Lauren Kindorff, CNS Preschool Director, at 510-549-9447 x110.

Rimmonim is an innovative Shabbat morning program for children in grades K-2 and their parents. We meet from 10:30-12:15 the 1st and 3rd Shabbatot of each month, Sept.-June. The program includes family tefillah (prayer), middot (the core values of Judaism), and Jewish story telling. This learning is supplemented by 3-4 Sunday social projects over the course of the year in the larger community which put the middot into action. Rimmonim is funded by a generous grant from the Legacy Heritage Foundation to support systemic synagogue change through family education. Rimmonim is free of charge for Congregation Netivot Shalom member families and offered for an annual donation of $118 to non-member families. For further information, contact
