Alzheimer's Center of the East Bay
2320 Channing Way

Participate in Rebuilding Together with Netivot Shalom. We are looking for volunteers for Sunday, April 29 from 10 am to 4 pm (with lunch provided) for our project which is the Alzheimer’s Center of the East Bay located at 2320 Channing Way in Berkeley. There will be prepping and painting of their lobby and stairwell. The project will begin on Saturday, April 28th, but the painting will not be finished the first day, as priming and two color coats are needed and dry time is an issue. Our Netivot Shalom group would complete the painting on Sunday, April 29th. Each project of Rebuilding Together restores a home or center so that another resident can live in safety and security. It is an opportunity to participate in our Jewish tradition of tikkun olam, helping to repair the world. The minimum age for volunteers is 14 (minors will need a waiver signed by a parent/guardian). For more information or to participate in this important mitzvah please contact Netivot Shalom member, Tree Gelb Stuber at
